Other dependants

1. (a)

   A person other than a dependant child as defined in paragraph 1 may be considered a staff member’s dependant on the following conditions:

   1. (i)

      he is a parent or other close relative by blood or marriage;

   2. (ii)

      he lives continuously with the staff member or his spouse or registered partner, or is regularly admitted to an institution giving specialist medical care;

   3. (iii)

      the person concerned does not have adequate resources of his own to support himself.
